The Anniversary Cabin is located on one of
Brown County Indiana's highest elevations.
This early, twentieth century log cabin was recently
restored and updated with modern amenities. Views
abound from the romantic upstairs bedroom to the
kitchen where a picture window allows you to sip coffee
while basking in a light-filled, endless view.
The
charming, antique-filled living room boasts a native stone
fireplace and vaulted ceilings. A private deck for viewing
sunsets and a covered front porch complete this romantic
picture. Anniversary Cabin is the perfect accommodation
for a memorable celebration for two.
Musicians and songwriters have lived and worked in Brown County
for many years. In the early 1970's a music studio was constructed near
Bean Blossom. It is remembered today as the location where the early
"Let's go Krogering" jingle was recorded. The former recording studio
has been transformed into Hilltop Cabin & Suites, a luxurious
accommodation available for overnight rental. Its proximity to Bean
Blossom makes it a popular overnight destination for visitors attending
the Bill Monroe Blue Grass Festival or the Blues Fest.
The Little Nashville Opry, located just west of Nashville,
features top country performers each weekend April through December.
Local musicians entertain throughout the year at venues such as the Fig
Tree in Helmsburg, the Story Inn in Story and the Pine Box Theater in
downtown Nashville.
Each summer and fall theater productions are staged Thursday
through Sunday at the Brown County Playhouse in downtown Nashville.
Actors are recruited from Indiana University's Department of Theater, so
top-notch performers provide quality entertainment the whole family can
enjoy.
When you visit Brown County the entertainment options are
abundant, varied, and absolutely delightful.
